About Broadband Genie

Broadband Genie is a free-to-use, independent comparison service for Australian consumers.

We maintain a huge, complex database of ADSL, cable, Naked DSL and wireless mobile broadband packages (prices, speeds, features, and so on), and we publish news and help articles designed to help consumers choose the best broadband provider.

Our stance is pro-consumer. We publish as much information as possible to help people compare broadband plans and we allow users to freely compare providers on whatever basis they choose. We are completely independent of any broadband providers.

In order to keep the site free at the point of use for consumers, we make money by charging broadband and related companies to advertise on our websites. Some of this advertising revenue is in the form of referral commissions if someone should click through and buy a particular service.

Broadband Genie is one of the longest running broadband comparison websites, and has been up, running and comparing since December 2009 in Australia and since February 2004 in the UK. We are regularly featured in national and local media.
