About Netspace
Based in Melbourne, Netspace has been providing internet access since 1992 and is wholly Australian owned having been created by Stuart Marburg and Richard Preen, two entrepreneurial types who wanted to offer reliability and value for money to the Aussie consumer. Currently, Netspace has around 80,000 customers and counting across the country and serves not only home users but delivers telecommunications services to businesses too.
Their broadband packages come in an array of different guises and Netspace primarily offers broadband ADSL, ADSL2+, Naked DSL and wireless along with fixed-line telephony services. The Netspace ethos seems to be to offer no-nonsense simplistic deals that will appeal to less technically-minded consumers, although this is backed up by packages that have all the high-speed broadband muscle that other internet Service Providers sell. This Melbourne company may not be the biggest when it comes to corporate size but they have a good reputation amongst home users and their network coverage stretches across Australia to many of the larger conurbations and metropolitan areas. With VoIP services and even dial-up being available from Netspace they have most internet users needs covered, although they do not currently offer mobile broadband as one of their package options.
