About iiNet

Since being founded in Perth, Western Australia back in 1993, iiNet has cultivated a growing customer base, one that now extends across the country currently making it the third largest Internet Service Provider in Australia. The core business for iinet revolves around offering ADSL-based broadband, including ADSL2+, along with naked DSL, VoIP, dial-up and voice services. iinet has also broadened its horizons over the years and its network coverage now extends to the eastern states. This has been further compounded as the company has spent the last decade mopping up some of the smaller regional network providers such as RuralNet, Hartindale, Octa4 and OzEmail helping it make significant inroads into other geographic locations across Australia. More recently, iinet has implemented some changes to the structure of its broadband packages in a bit to manage its network infrastructure more efficently. As a result, this has also meant that customers can also enjoy more relaxed download limits although this is dependant on the plan they're signed up to. iinet also currently offers BoB, a product which allows users to access the internet and use the phone in the space of one device via Naked DSL. It supports numerous handsets, allows up to four PC's, gaming consoles or similar devices to be connected via ethernet as well as offering a wireless supply. BoB prides itself on being easy to use and setup alongside other similar products available in the broadband marketplace. At present iinet does not currently offer any non-fixed line broadband services.

Their customer service wasn't great, but the connection is reliable most of the time. Our naked DSL package is a good price at $49.95 p/month
